Salary : $130,000 - $160,000 per year
As the Senior Manager for Continuous Improvement, you will oversee the planning and execution of site improvement projects (Lean & Six Sigma) to achieve strategic objectives.
You’ll play a key role in fostering a culture of operational excellence by leading the Business Unit’s continuous improvement efforts and delivering hands-on training in Lean manufacturing methodologies.
Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage the site’s Continuous Improvement System (COS) program to meet business goals.
- Conduct regular assessments of the facility, identify gaps, develop solutions, and manage action plans.
- Communicate COS progress to executive and senior leadership as well as associates.
- Train and implement problem-solving methodologies and critical thinking across all functions.
- Facilitate Enterprise and Manufacturing Kaizen events at the Corona site and other locations as needed.
- Mentor CI Managers and support improvement initiatives at other sites.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements :
- Proven experience in developing and implementing problem-solving structures / processes.
- Extensive hands-on experience in coaching and leading problem-solving teams / projects.
- Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing and improvement strategy development.
- Experience with mix model cells and high mix low volume manufacturing.
- Ability to analyze data and formulate actionable improvement initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- A teaching and coaching mentality.
- Advanced project management skills.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, etc.) or equivalent experience (5+ years).
- 5+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams in a matrix organization.
- Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification is a plus.
