Our client, a nationwide leader in plastics and materials manufacturing, has an immediate need for an experienced Maintenance Mechanic , to join their winning team.
Our candidate of choice will be able to work in a team setting, but will also feel confident enough to complete some smaller tasks independently.
This position is "hands-on" and the individual should have a self-starter mindset.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- 2+ years of experience working with 480V 3-phase electrical
- 2+ years of experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial production machinery or other related machinery
- Welding and Fabrication experience a plus but not required
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to handle the physical requirements of the job
- Must be able to be on-call if necessary
KEY REQUIREMENTS :
- Rigging and heavy equipment experience a plus
- Knowledge of pipe threading for air hydraulic and electrical piping
- Understand lockout procedures and ARC flash protection / dangers
- Able to use scissor lifts, boom / aerial lifts, and forklifts
