866.8676 Full Description : The selected candidate will be responsible for : -Manage all Accounting functions, and help embed a continuous improvement culture in the department and company.
- Lead the company in the implementation of a government approved accounting system.-Prepare and present financial statements and related reports.
- Responsible for maintaining appropriate staffing for the department including hiring and training.-Assist in implementing strategic plans, and act as a business partner to other decision makers.
- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecast; analyze and report variances.-Act as lead contact with corporation's independent auditors.
- Interpret operating results as they affect the financial aspects of the corporation and make specific recommendations which will result in cost reductions.
- Ensure effective interface between Finance and other departments. Oversee accurate, timely, and complete flow of information between departments.
- Ensure compliance with federal state and international laws, rules, regulations, and requirements related to financial accounting matters.
- Establish and maintain system of internal controls over financial processes and reporting.-Responsible for preparation of all required compliance reports, including but not limited to sales and use tax returns and other regulatory filings.
- Review all rental agreements, leases, registrations, etc. for their impact on company operations.-Review insurance and employee benefits programs for fiscal impact on company.

- Adhere to all company policies and procedures including work rules, safety standards and departmental operating procedures.
The selected candidate will also possess : -Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field coupled with 7 - 10 years of experience including cost accounting & supervisory experience.
- CMA or CPA preferred.-Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and the administration of a government approved accounting system.
- Computer / Financial systems literacy (Excel, ERP systems).-Ability to make independent decisions and take responsibility for them but will utilize team consensus or collaboration when appropriate.
