Overview of the Accountant Role :

• The accountant, reporting directly to the Assistant Controller, will play a key role in maintaining our organization's financial health.
• Responsibilities include maintaining financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts with accuracy and precision.
• Prepare journal entries, conduct account reconciliations, and assist with monthly close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Contribute to developing and reviewing annual operating budgets and performance projections, leveraging your analytical skills and financial acumen.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies to maintain financial accuracy and compliance.

Preferred Qualifications for the Accountant :

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, which will provide you with the foundational knowledge necessary for success in this role as an Accountant.
• You must bring at least two years of accounting experience, demonstrating your proficiency and expertise in financial management as an Accountant.
• Experience in the construction industry is a plus, as it offers valuable insights into this sector's unique challenges and opportunities.
