Position Overview : As an Insurance Agent for Commercial Lines, you will be responsible for selling our insurance policies and managing commercial accounts for businesses of all sizes.
Your main goal will be to protect businesses from potential risks by providing the best insurance coverage options. You will work closely with clients to understand their specific needs and offer tailored insurance solutions to meet those needs.
Key Responsibilities :
- Identify potential clients and actively sell insurance policies to businesses in need of commercial coverage
- Manage and maintain relationships with existing commercial clients
- Evaluate and assess clients' insurance needs and offer appropriate coverage options
- Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of insurance products and services offered by the company
- Provide prompt and accurate quotes to potential clients
- Negotiate policy terms and premiums with clients
- Collect all required information and documentation from clients to process insurance policies
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in insurance policies and regulations
- Meet or exceed sales targets and goals
- Collaborate with other insurance agents and departments within the company
- Provide excellent customer service and follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 2 years of insurance sales experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelors Degree preferred
- Active P&C license in NJ
- Previous experience as an insurance agent or in a sales role
- Strong track record of meeting and exceed goals / quotas
Knowledge of insurance products, preferrably in commercial lines
