Summary
The Division of Nephrology is seeking a Nephrologist to add to their team in the Northern region at Regional Hospital in Poughkeepsie, NY and Health Alliance Hudson Valley in Kingston, NY.
Candidates must be board certified or eligible in Nephrology and be able to obtain a New York State license.
Responsibilities
- Teaching and supervision of nephrology fellows.
- Attending on the renal inpatient consult service.
- Rounding on dialysis outpatients.
- Seeing outpatients.
- Participating in clinical care activities as reasonably required by the Section Chief.
- Engaging in research activities, with protected research time available.

The Division of Nephrology interfaces with various programs including heart, liver, and kidney transplant, trauma, surgical, cardiothoracic, and medical ICUs, bone marrow transplant, heart failure programs, as well as general inpatient and outpatient services.
The division also has both home peritoneal and hemodialysis services and is planning to expand home dialysis services in the Poughkeepsie and MidHudson Regional area.
A robust multimillion-dollar telehealth service is part of the clinical backbone of available care and is used throughout the Westchester Health network.
