Objective :

Manage the day-to-day operations of the Development Office, including donor records and donor relations, and cultivate stream of donor giving for the Academy.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Tracking Data :

• Develop and maintain a prospect tracking plan within a database
• Accurately record and enter data collected through phone calls and visits

2. Capitalize on Strategic Events :

• Engage with the Academy to learn necessary information about faculty, curriculum, events, tuition, vision, school board, classes, and more
• Provide tours of the Academy as needed
• Assist in planning and engaging in general development events

3. Relationship Cultivation :

• Develop and maintain relationships with prospective donors
• Follow up with prospects with additional information and support to encourage a decision
• Meet with donors to establish new scholarships and / or update current scholarships

4. Giving Management :

• Track giving patterns of donors, partners, and other key prospects
• Provide an analysis of trends and important conclusions for Senior Leadership
• Conduct donor research to guide fundraising decision-making
• Produce regular reports of pledges and donations, along with giving analyses

Qualifications :

• A minimum of one to three years of systems management experience in a fundraising setting within a Christian school environment (or comparable organization)
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a natural ability to connect with and inspire others
• A.A., B.A., B.S. or higher degree
• Strong donor-service orientation and follow-through
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a prospective approach to relationship management and program leadership
• Familiarity with virtual meeting platforms and online communication tools
• Strong organizational skills and a high level of efficiency
• Excellent analytical skills
• Must live relatively near to the Academy in order to work on site
