Weare seeking a highly motivated team member to support our AquaticsDirector at our YMCAHouser branch in Onalaska WI. This position stime will be split between administrative work supporting theoverall Aquatics Department and lifeguard / swim lessons.
This is afulltime hourlyposition.
Responsibilities :
- Assistin overseeing the safety of all aquaticsprogramming
- Assistin the scheduling of pool space for all poolrelatedactivities
- Assistin scheduling and supervision of lifeguardstaff
- Assistin recruitment and onboarding of all newemployees
- Lifeguardor teach swim lessons at least 20 hours per week (could includeweekends)
Requirements
Qualifications :
- Twoor more years of experience in aquatics recreation fitness or arelatedfield
- Supervisoryexperiencepreferred
SpecializedKnowledge Skills &Certifications :
- ProfessionalCPR / AED and First AidCertification
- YMCAor Red Cross LifeguardCertification
- YMCASwim Lesson Instructorpreferred
