Director of Pharmacy
We are searching for a motivated Director of Pharmacy in an acute care facility near Stockton, California!
Stockton, California, has a rich history dating back to the Gold Rush era, when it was founded in 1849 as a key supply and shipping hub.

Job Summary
The Director of Pharmacy oversees the department by developing, implementing, evaluating, and adjusting the hospital'
s pharmacy practices to adhere to industry best practices. They ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, as well as accrediting bodies.
The role includes recruiting, hiring, developing, and retaining skilled pharmacy staff, as well as creating and monitoring systems to prevent drug diversion.
Additionally, the Director plans, organizes, and directs the pharmacy staff's work, manages the annual budget, submits capital expenditure requests as per policy, and reviews and updates policies and procedures annually.
Required Qualifications :
- Pharm. D. or BS in Pharmacy Required, Masters Degree Preferred.
- 5 years Pharmacist Experience Required.
- 3 years hospital Pharmacy Management experience required.
- Pharmacy residency or fellowship training preferred.
- Active California Pharmacist license.
- 3 years hospital Pharmacy Management experience required.
- 5 years Pharmacist Experience Required. Salary Base : $175K- $285K
