We are currently seeking a seasoned Permanent Maintenance Electrician to join our dynamic engineering team. This role is integral to the smooth operation of our organization, as you will be directly responsible for the maintenance, repair, installation, and troubleshooting of all electrical equipment and systems.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional with a solid background in machine maintenance tech, motors, VFD, electrical controls, schematics, and AC / DC.

Responsibilities :

As a Permanent Maintenance Electrician, you will be responsible for a broad range of tasks, including but not limited to :

1. Performing scheduled and reactive maintenance on all electrical systems, equipment, and machinery to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.

2. Diagnosing and repairing faults in electrical systems and equipment, including motors and VFD.

3. Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints to understand and troubleshoot systems effectively.

4. Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical control systems.

5. Assisting in the design and modification of electrical systems as necessary.

6. Ensuring all work is performed in accordance with company policies and procedures, as well as industry standards and regulations.

7. Documenting all maintenance and repair work for record-keeping purposes and future reference.

8. Collaborating closely with other team members and departments to ensure the seamless operation of all systems and equipment.

Qualifications :

To be considered for this role, you will need :

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Electrician in the engineering industry or a similar role.

2. Proven experience with machine maintenance tech, motors, VFD, electrical controls, schematics, and AC / DC.

3. A relevant qualification or certification in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

4. Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

5. Excellent understanding of electrical systems and the ability to read and interpret schematics.

6. Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

7. A strong commitment to safety, with knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and procedures.

8. The ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.

9. High levels of physical fitness, as the role may involve lifting heavy items and working in confined spaces.
