Technical Recruiter

Job Duties / Description

Achieves staffing objectives by recruiting and evaluating job candidates.

Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites;

providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; and maintaining rapport.

Owning the candidate experience from start to end and ensuring an exceptional candidate experience : understanding candidate goals and needs, qualifying their competency and culture fit, managing the feedback loop, and coordinating an expedient and seamless interview process.

Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications.

Attracts applicants by placing job advertisements and using job sites.

Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants, analyzing responses, verifying references, and comparing qualifications to job requirements.

Maintain all pertinent applicant and interview data in the Applicant Tracking System

Improves organizational attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices; monitoring job offers and compensation practices;

and emphasizing benefits and perks.

Source and screen for positions including scheduling candidates for face to face, video, and phone interviews w / hiring managers.

Assist with the onboarding of new hires.

Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

1-3 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company.

Excellent presentation and communication skills (verbal and written)

Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Possess a high sense of urgency and with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.

Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite

Experience with Indeed, LinkedIn, and other various job forums is a plus.
