This is a Pool process with permanent full time and fixed term full time opportunities.
This pool recruitment will also be used to fill any fixed term and / or permanent vacancies for Team Leader positions at Metropolitan Youth Bail Service and Court Services in the preceding two years, including possible backfill of leave and secondments.
A 12 month fixed term vacancy exists in the position of Team Leader at Court Services, Perth Children’s Court in 2024 with the possibility of extension.

About the role
Looking to make a difference with Youth and reduce our young people in custody? Willing to think creatively to support young people and their families entering the youth justice system?
We are looking for experienced people to work in two unique and dynamic business units. You will need to be flexible, multitask and lead a team in an environment that is experiencing change and growth.
The positions are full time and provide coverage of on call responsibilities on a rostered basis, with relative allowances applicable.
Eligibility
In accordance with the National Child Safety Principles, people who work directly with children and young people, you must have a current Working with Children Check or be able to successfully apply for one to be eligible for appointment to this position.
To be eligible for a permanent appointment to the Western Australian public sector it is essential that you are an Australian citizen or have permanent residency status in Australia.
To be eligible for a fixed term appointment you must have documentary evidence of your entitlement to live and work in Australia for the duration of the contract.
All employees are required to undergo employment screening, which includes a National Criminal History Check and other checks that may be relevant to the position requirements.
