Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day support activities for the SAP systems, including system performance monitoring, issue resolution, and system upgrades.
- Provide expert-level technical support for SAP Basis components, including the application server, database server, and SAP NetWeaver components.
- Plan and execute SAP system upgrades, migration and patches.
- Ensure system backups and disaster recovery procedures are in place and tested regularly.
- Work with other teams to plan, coordinate, and implement new SAP projects and initiatives.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues before they affect system performance or availability.
- Work with SAP support to resolve complex technical issues.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system design documents, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred or equivalent experience·
- At least 7 years of experience as an SAP Basis Administrator.
- Strong technical skills in SAP Basis administration, including experience with SAP NetWeaver, SAP HANA, SAP BI, SAP BODS, SAP GRC, and SAP Solution Manager.
- Hands-on experience with SAP system refreshes, upgrades, migration, and patches.
- Experience with SAP system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting on both Windows and Linux operating systems.
- BTP knowledge (Managing BTP tenants, activating services, subaccounts, and security management)
- Advanced knowledge and experience in SAP Security, Hana security, and GRC.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Provide on-call production support on a rotation basis during weekends and after hours.
- Experience with SAP S / 4HANA, Fiori, and cloud-based SAP systems is a plus.
