Job Summary
Support the Business Development (BD) Team and Executive Management in developing and submitting proposals from inception to submission in response to Requests for Proposals (RFP) and Requests for Information (RFI), primarily for Federal and local Government agencies, including but not limited to Department of Defense (DoD), General Services Administration (GSA), Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), US Army, US Marine Corps, and Department of the Navy.
Essential Functions :
- Draft proposal outline IAW RFP instructions and evaluation criteria, assign writers, and monitor & manage proposal calendar
- Assess RFP / RFI requirements and perform gap analysis, compliance, and scheduling
- Write Company and overview information for proposals including executive summaries, conclusions, and organization credentials in a clear, concise manner maintaining continuity of style and content
- Coordinate all bid files.
- Facilitate check ins with the BD Team, subject matter experts, and technical writers to ensure on time submissions per the proposal calendar
- Monitor proposal / bid opportunities using beta.sam, GovWin, Seaport-NxG, GSA, and other related RFP online tools
- Manage and update the Company proposal library (templates, standard language, exhibits, organization charts, etc.)
- Collaborate with internal contributors and subject matter experts to ensure content is complete, accurate, and maximizes business opportunities.
- Draft, revise, and edit proposal reviews incorporating content from writers.
- Supports the Quality Manager in document review and audits, develops internal Company presentations and training materials
- Provide administrative support as necessary to the Executive Team, Program Managers, Administration, and Business Development departments
- Attend site visits and industry days as necessary
- Other duties as assigned
- Support PTi's QMS, Safety, Environmental, and Security Programs, and other Company certifications and initiatives
Experience :
Minimum 1 year of proposal management experience including deliverables, schedules, outlining, compliance matrices, and technical writing
Skills :
- Advanced Microsoft Word Proficient
- Intermediate or Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Proficient
- Extremely detail-oriented with the ability to read, retain, and identify large contexts
- Exceptional interpersonal, and communicative skills to effectively present complex information to target audiences via both oral and written communication
- Able to work independently or with a team
Certificate, License, Registration, etc. :
- Completion of company-mandated training applicable to the position.
- Ability to obtain / maintain favorable security investigation, if applicable
Education
Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- DoD RFP and proposal development
