4M Research is seeking a Missile Defense Analysts for our team in Huntsville, AL.
Successful candidates are able to :
- Perform first-principles physics-based analysis to quantify the likelihood and severity of Missile Defense System (MDS) capability gaps and forecast performance of potential mitigations
- Develop analysis tools in MATLAB / Python
- Execute batches of MATLAB-based M&S runs in a high performance computing (HPC) environment and analyze the results
- Assess potential benefits and regrets of proposed solutions to capability gaps
- Present findings clearly in briefings and white papers.
Required
- BS in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, physics, computer science, or mathematics
- Prior experience with the Missile Defense System (MDS), with a solid understanding of one or more of the following : missile defense radars, OPIR, battle managers, interceptors+
- Three to seven (3-7) years' experience
- Ability to code in MATLAB / Python
- Willing to learn to develop digital tools in Qlik Sense
- Active Secret clearance
