Global Impact - Senior Accountant : Grants & Grant Making Accounts

As a Senior Accountant , you’re primarily responsible for collecting, reconciling, and summarizing accounting information, entering data into different accounting software, and generating financial reports for international and grant recipient clients.

Responsibilities

Month-end and year-end closing processes; annual budgets

Reviewing, approving, and monitoring accounts payable and receivables

Serving as main point of contact for client financial needs : project management support, vendor and sub-grantee contracts, reporting, auditing, preparing 990 and related tax forms

Operational needs : liaising with internal departments such as IT and HR / Payroll.

Qualifying for this role means you have a bachelor's degree in Accounting , Business Administration and 4+ years of accounting experience in Public Accounting and Non-Profit accounting .

A CPA or CPA candidate desirable. Proficient in the use of Exce l, Office 365 , QuickBooks Online, Bill.com, and banking platforms.

Hands on experience with grant management and tracking , as well as international non-profit organizations, is preferred.

Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States for more than one year. Visa sponsorship is not available. This is a full-time position and may be fully remote, with travel to headquarters in Washington, DC for team meetings on occasion.

The salary range is $8 0 ,000 - $ 85 ,000, depending on the experience you bring. On top of the competitive salary that we are offering, you’
