- Monitors and troubleshoots all Distribution Center (DC) computer, telecommunications, SCAN terminals, RF units, controllers, IDF cabinets, to ensure continuous operation within the DC
- Serves a Project Leader for various systematic / operational projects within the DC., reporting status of projects to IT Supervisor
- Assists IT Supervisor in making recommendations concerning installations, continued maintenance, and planning of current projects
- Maintains comprehensive and detailed records of equipment inventory,
- Coordinates preventative maintenance and / or corrective programs with vendor service personnel
- Requests / Creates / Deletes SCAN user profiles, conducts security audits
- Sets up individual user computers / workstations and peripheral devices on network
- Identifies and resolves problems, cleans and reconfigures equipment, makes repairs and / or coordinates service
- Installs and remove software. Interfaces with Home Office Systems Division regarding application operations
- Provides training and technical assistance to DC users as necessary
- Coordinates the ordering of supplies and stock, maintains inventory of supplies, as necessary
- Performs other duties as required or directed
Requirements : -College degree in Business or IT related major.-Experience can be used in place of education requirement.
Technical systems training preferred-Good data entry and typing skills-Strong written and verbal communication skills-Be flexible with changing demands and priorities-Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Microsoft Outlook-Strong problem solving / troubleshooting and analytical skills-Basic knowledge of network cabling and network infrastructure : Routers, wireless Access Points, switches, patch panels, IP addresses, etc.
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends as needed-Ability to travel between local Compton locations as neededHourly rate $23 per hour
