We are currently seeking to hire a highly skilled and dependable CNC Machinist to join our production team.
SHIFT HOURS : 4PM TO 1 : 30AM
CNC Machinist Job Summary :
Computer numerical control (CNC) machinists play a crucial role in the manufacturing industry today, you will be responsible for cutting, shaping, and refining raw materials into finished products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Check CNC machinery is in good working order.
- Set up equipment to successfully conduct the run as specified operating equipment and inspect finished parts.
- Being accurate with the manufacturing of the metal precision components
- Monitor the run throughout the cycle, checking that specifications are met.
- Perform all necessary machine maintenance.
- Monitor the machinery and conduct regular quality checks to ensure they are running properly and that the parts are being produced according to specifications.
- Report any safety or maintenance concerns to management immediately.
- Practice good housekeeping by keeping all work areas clean and organized.
- Analyze specification in drawings to gain a thorough understanding of requirements.
- Develop a plan of action to manufacture parts according to specifications.
- Measure and load raw materials into bar feeder.
- Set up equipment and paperwork required to complete each step of the manufacturing plan.
- Monitor the production process and intervene when problems arise.
- Inspect finished parts for flaws and defects.
Necessary Education, Skills, and Competencies (including licensing and certifications) :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role
- Follow clear and concise standards and procedures.
- Able to read and follow technical drawings and work instructions.
- Accuracy on measuring parts
- Ambassador of efficiency and quality by creating the parts to satisfy our valued customers.
