Lumenance is seeking qualified engineers to help our client develop plastic and metal parts for ATVs, Side-by-Sides and other Honda Powersports equipment.
Job Duties
- Utilize CATIA V5 to perform the mechanical design (3D + 2D) and packaging of plastic and sheet metal parts from styling surface data
- Manage artwork and drawing creation for labels and graphics, collaborating with styling, validation, and regulatory functions to ensure compliance with regulations and vehicle concept targets
- Coordinate with styling studio, other design engineers, suppliers, and factories to ensure all requirements are understood and cross-functional needs are addressed
- Ensure assigned parts and assemblies incorporate form, fit, function, and manufacturability requirements
- Manage one's schedule for all assignments. Includes tracking of project schedule and working overtime as needed to meet deadlines.
- Track the cost of assigned parts and systems
- As requested, investigating new technology and industry trends that will evolve into improved or new products
