Job Description :
Labor Finders is seeking a skilled Sewing Machine Operator for a temporary assignment with a client in the St. Petersburg, FL area.
The ideal candidate will have experience operating sewing machines, with a particular emphasis on working with fiberglass materials.
Key Responsibilities :
- Operate sewing machines to join, reinforce, decorate, or perform related sewing operations in the manufacturing process.
- Handle and sew fiberglass materials with precision and care.
- Follow patterns, templates, and instructions to complete tasks accurately.
- Inspect finished products for quality and ensure they meet client specifications.
- Maintain sewing machines and perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Required Qualifications :
- Proven experience as a Sewing Machine Operator.
- Ability to work with various types of materials, particularly fiberglass.
- Attention to detail and high standards of craftsmanship.
- Ability to read and follow patterns and instructions.
- Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Previous experience in a similar role working with fiberglass.
- Basic knowledge of sewing machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
