Position Overview :
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Director of Programs and Services will lead all programmatic efforts at Frontier Living LLC, with a primary focus on housing and supportive services.
This pivotal role is responsible for driving program effectiveness, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, fostering growth through strategic partnerships, and overseeing the development and implementation of impactful programs.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Program Leadership and Management
o Provide strategic leadership for all programs and services, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
o Oversee program strategy, delegation of responsibilities, and implementation of initiatives to enhance service delivery.
o Manage and mentor a team of program managers and staff, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
o Monitor program outcomes and effectiveness, utilizing data-driven insights to optimize service delivery and client outcomes.
2. Staff Management and Development
o Lead recruitment efforts, defining hiring needs, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions.
o Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for staff on program policies, procedures, and service delivery platforms.
o Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and support career development for staff.
o Ensure compliance with HR policies, manage staff schedules, and approve leave requests to maintain operational efficiency.
3. Client Management and Service Delivery
o Oversee the development and updating of client housing and supportive service plans, ensuring individualized support aligned with client needs and goals.
o Monitor client progress, intervene as needed to address barriers to housing and supportive service stability, and maintain high levels of client satisfaction through effective communication and support.
o Resolve client issues and grievances promptly and effectively, ensuring a positive client experience.
4. Community Engagement and Outreach
o Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with community stakeholders including families and individualized served by our programs, local authorities, case management organizations, and service providers.
o Represent Frontier Living in community forums, advocate for the needs of homeless populations, people with disabilities and elderly community, and promote awareness of our services.
o Drive client referrals through proactive engagement with provider communities and case management organizations.
5. Compliance and Regulatory Oversight
o Ensure compliance with all relevant state and federal regulations, including adherence to section 245D.081 of Minnesota statutes governing program coordination and evaluation.
o Coordinate service delivery and evaluation for each person served, ensuring compliance with support plans and maintaining high program quality standards.
o Implement program improvements based on evaluation outcomes, oversee corrective actions as needed, and ensure staff competency through effective training and development initiatives.
Requirements :
o Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
o Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Minnesota, or eligibility for licensure with ability to obtain LICSW within 6 months of hire.
o Minimum of three years of supervisory-level experience in a program providing direct support services to individuals with disabilities or persons aged 65 and older.
o Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of effectively managing teams and achieving program outcomes.
o Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Skills :
o Experiences in behavioral health or social work.
o Strong relationship management skills.
o Knowledge of working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
o Ability to manage programs effectively, including budgeting and financial management.
o Proficiency in program development and administrative tasks.
o Experience in supervising staff and teams.
