WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

Hybrid Schedule - This position is recruiting for our Michigan City, LaPorte, Valparaiso, and Chesterton locations and will require to be on site as needed.

Other travel required as needed. Must have independent transportation. Attend off-site meetings and tour candidates around the community and Franciscan Alliance clinic sites / hospitals.

Physician Outreach Attends career fairs, networking, and social functions following established outreach plans to maintain relationships and build a positive referral network for Franciscan Alliance.

Identify real and potential barriers in provider retention and work with appropriate constituencies to reduce / eliminate barriers.

Recruitment and Offer Process Management Creates job postings, reviews applications, conducts phone screening, and updates internal stakeholders and candidates on the recruitment process and status.

Manages the selection, presentation, offer, negotiation and closing components involved for physicians, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare professional hires.

Maintain accurate and complete records of all candidate and provider practice contacts within internal database to ensure successful customer relationship management

Candidate Site Visit Management Plans, organizes, and coordinates all aspects of candidate site visit including itineraries, agendas, travel accommodations, meals, and community tours.

Obtains feedback for changes / improvements to ensure the best possible experience for candidates. Identify provider needs and take initiative to contact appropriate resource for assistance.

Recruitment Metrics Updates the applicant tracking system and internal metrics and spreadsheets as well as other recruitment related information with candidate status and activity.

Strategic Recruitment and Sourcing Participates in the building of creative recruitment campaigns / methods to reach targeted providers.

Develop and communicate recruitment and sourcing plan and process strategy while managing unique sourcing strategies for each opportunity.

Lead provider pipeline strategy implementation and growth. Identify potential barriers in recruitment; uses critical thinking and interpersonal skills to reduce / eliminate barriers.

Sources physician candidates through search firms, databases, advertising, networking with professional organizations for physicians, other hospital-based recruiters, and recruitment organizations to ensure maximized results.

Relationship Management Manage multiple relationships, transactions, and expectations to meet desired outcomes. Build strong relationships with provider candidates.

Strategically identify and engage network leadership for involvement in site visits. Investigate and navigate partnership opportunities with leadership Schools of Medicine, Graduate Medical Education programs.

Independently meet and act as advisor for administration and leadership to identify recruitment needs. Support and share Franciscan vision and culture to provider candidates.

Qualifications

Required Associate's Degree

Preferred Bachelor's Degree

2 years Recruitment, Sales or Marketing Required

AAPPR - Certified Physician / Provider Recruitment Professional Required within 24 months of hire or AAMM - Certified Medical Staff Recruiter Required withing 24 months of hire
