Senior People Systems Analyst

Job Description

The People Systems Senior Analyst is responsible for the ongoing maintenance, configuration, and testing of new functionalities in Workday.

This individual will also be involved in various analytical tasks, including but not limited to report development, data audit, and data trends analysis.

This role will work collaboratively with the People & Culture team to streamline processes, deploy new functionalities, and enhance user experience.

Skills needed by the candidate include demonstrable, multi-year experience with Workday and related human capital processes.

They must be able to work on their own initiative and interact with senior P&C staff and Executives to a high standard.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

Serve as a specialized Workday HCM technical and functional Analyst providing technical leadership

Resolve Workday related user inquiries, system, and data issues including supporting senior US management to a high standard

Lead the implementation of complex projects and initiatives that have company wide scope in the Human Capital Management ecosystem

Understand the full HR technology landscape, especially HR related systems and their interactions with other systems.

Build deep partnerships with leadership team and champion new ways of working.

Collaborate with P&C staff and organizational leadership to leverage advanced HR technology for all users with a focus on streamlining process and aiding efficiency in a global environment

Provide hands-on support to system users in completing transactions and updating system configurations

Provide support to the People & Culture team, including researching and resolving system problems, unexpected results, or process flaws

Maintain and develop custom reports and audit processes to maintain data integrity and support compliance, audits, and oversight needs

Participate in reviewing, planning, testing, and implementing system upgrades

Manage the business process integrations with the payroll and other systems

Maintain and develop user guides and documentation to support Workday functionality and ensure timely compliance with the operating procedures

Develop dashboards and analytics to underpin decision-making

QUALIFICATIONS(Required and Preferred)

Bachelor’s degree

6 + years of extensive Workday experience including Workday custom configuration and Workday architecture / design covering Workday HCM core modules.

In addition a specialism in Absence, Time Tracking and Recruiting is of benefit.

5 + years of Workday data analytics / reporting ensuring information for decision making is readily available

5 + years of application requirements gathering and design, including process mapping and gap analysis

Leading or being part of a global workday configuration project.

Knowledge of Workday best practices.

Workday EIB data load and integration experience

Use of reporting tools / dashboards such as PowerBI

Workday Certifications

The base compensation range for this position is $132,000 to $145,000 commensurate with experience.
