We are currently searching for an experienced Surveyor to support our Midwest Region located in Dayton, OH .
This position conducts land surveys and prepares survey deliverables and documents. Responsible for the success of projects including quality, budget and schedule for each project.
Provides supervision and direction in preparation of survey deliverables by survey technical staff.
What you’ll be doing :
- This position will perform professional level surveying duties
- Member of a survey team working within a group to meet schedules, client requests (internally and externally) and production expectations
- Coordinating and managing outside survey subcontractors
- Implementing QA / QC practices for final survey deliverables
- Developing fees and writing and reviewing proposals
- Ensure compliance with company safety regulations
- Communicate regularly with team members and operation managers to keep project on schedule and meet client expectation
What you need to have :
- Licensed Professional Land Surveyor (Preferably in Ohio) or Surveyor Intern
- 5 - 10 years of Project Management experience
- Desire and ability to obtain licensure in additional states
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Judgment and decision-making skills
- Complex problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- Safety oriented
