Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Develop, negotiate, and implement strategies resulting in enhanced profitability, improved supply chain performance, lowest total cost, and broader aftermarket product offerings.
  • Coordinate with PACCAR Purchasing and PACCAR Parts Product Marketing the development and execution of successful global commodity strategies.
  • Conduct meetings and formal presentations with suppliers, PACCAR Purchasing and Aftermarket stakeholders at all management levels.
  • Travel globally to suppliers and PACCAR locations to negotiate, evaluate capabilities, assess production readiness, and investigate new opportunities.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum 2 years of purchasing, supply-chain, and / or PACCAR experience
  • Experience in an aftermarket parts environment a plus
  • Negotiation and strong analytical skills
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to details and multitasking ability
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Creative, self-motivated quality and results-driven work ethic
  • Project management experience is preferred
  • Undergraduate bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Finance, or related field required.

Graduate level degree (e.g. MBA) a plus.
