Posting Summary : Provide attending coverage for University Hospital's adult psychiatric services, consultation-liaison psychiatric services, and psychiatric emergency services as assigned.

• Participate in overnight on-call rotating faculty schedule; Participate in rotating faculty schedule for University Hospital weekend coverage;
• Participate in quality assurance, performance improvement, and peer review activities; Teach and evaluate medical students, psychiatry residents, fellows, and allied health professional fellows / students / trainees in both clinical activities at University Hospital as well as in didactic lecture and small group settings;
• Pursuit scholarly activities within the Department of Psychiatry and collaborate with other departments at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School and Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences;
• Complete billing, required training, time studies, and other required hospital-related or Rutgers-related surveys, in accordance with Rutgers New Jersey Medical School and University Hospital policies, on a timely basis;

Perform other duties as assigned by the Department Chair.

Immunization Requirements

Under Policy 100.3.1 Immunization Policy for Covered Individuals, if employment will commence during Flu Season, Rutgers University may require certain prospective employees to provide proof that they are vaccinated against Seasonal Influenza for the current Flu Season, unless the University has granted the individual a medical or religious exemption.
