Job Description :
Are you a compassionate and proactive caregiver with experience in ALS care? We are seeking a dedicated caregiver to provide excellent care for a male client in Buckeye, AZ.
Responsibilities :
- Provide daily care and assistance to a male ALS patient
- Use a Hoyer lift for transfers
- Assist with personal hygiene, mobility, and daily activities
- Monitor health and report any changes to healthcare professionals
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment
- Respect the client's smoking habits and ensure a comfortable atmosphere
Requirements :
- Proven experience in caregiving, especially with ALS patients
- Proficiency in using a Hoyer lift
- Strong understanding of ALS care needs
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Patience, empathy, and a proactive attitude
- Ability to work in a smoking environment (outside)
