1st Shift Monday - Friday 8 AM - 5 PM

Midway Staffing is looking for a Staffing Coordinator to join our team!

The Staffing Coordinator partners with Midway Staffing’s branch personnel to support our client and branch operations. You will assist the branch in maximizing recruiting efficiency and daily operations.

Responsibilities Include :

• Maintain daily communication and relationships with the Midway Staffing team, as well as the respective client(s).
• Assists with the Company and / or client's new hire onboarding process by ensuring new hires have completed all their new hire paperwork before starting and sending out information regarding their first day.
• Place and update job postings through various channels including internet / intranet sites, colleges, social networks, community boards, and staffing partners.
• Recruit and perform talent acquisition activities such as resume & phone screens, and candidate interviews, and recommend the final selection of applicants and closely qualified candidates.
• Create job order forms, maintain applicant tracking systems, recruiting reports, and other staffing administration functions as needed.
• Arrange pre-employment testing, and background & reference screenings when required.
• Attends and participates in job fairs, community activities, and other public and departmental recruitment-related events.
• Perform other duties as needed and assigned.

Qualifications / Skills Needed to Succeed :

• Bi-lingual in English and Spanish Required.
• Prior On-Site, recruiting, or staffing experience is a plus.
• Ability to be flexible and function well in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Communicate clearly and professionally both verbally and in writing.
• Outstanding organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• High School Diploma or GED, required.
