To help us drive excellence, you’ll get to :

• Ensure that the BU leadership and plant staff agree with achieving all program milestone events (Fixture design, process, and layout approval etc.).
• Ensure that the internal launch activities meet timing objectives and targets.
• Work with launch team and BU to ensure all ECR's are completed and submitted to the customer on time.
• Manage the integrators to ensure all cost targets and budgets are achieved.
• Ensure that the team completes all APQP forms and check off sheets on time to achieve gated review objectives.
• Responsible for overall coordination and communication of launch activity and goals.

This salary role is a part of our Engineering Team and reports to the Continuous Improvement Manager.

Required experience :

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience in Engineering or Engineering cross discipline.
• Minimum of eight (8) years’ experience in an automotive / metals / assembly environment.
• Possess knowledge of plant department functions and interacts to facilitate overall plant synergy.
• Knowledge of standard quality practices.
• Ability to interpret financial and performance data.
• Ability to prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced work environment.
• Computer literacy and good knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
• Ability to read and write in English and to perform mathematical computations.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, team building, and verbal and written communication skills.
