Job Title : Business Operations Senior Analyst
Department : Medicine Surgery Administration
- Business Operations Senior Analyst is responsible for management and administration of the Division(s) and clinical practice groups within the Department of Surgery resources, including but not limited to finance, processes and operations, facilities, equipment, systems, and communication;
- development of budget, forecasting, and financial modeling; gathers and analyzes data to construct key performance indicators to monitor and drive continuous performance improvement and reinforce strategic decision making;
- responsible in conjunction with the administrator for aligning the strategy with business resources and driving change and business transformation efforts to ensure long-term business viability while maximizing the value of the division's services;
- regular collection and reporting of provider level data to department / division administration and faculty; collaborates with Division Chief (s) and Administrator to determine faculty compensation and salary adjustments;
- Manages and oversees all contracts and agreements including but not limited to faculty, OSUP, compensation, OSUP compensation and OSUP finance adjustments;
- Ensures adherence to appropriate internal control structures and compliance with established fiscal policies, procedures and regulations;
reviews and authorizes all expenditures, journal entries, income, and transfers; may enter and / or approve requests for procurement, travel, journal entries.
Minimum Education Required
Bachelor's Level Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with a Major in accounting or business administration.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting Business Administration or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required Master's Degree preferred Considerable knowledge of accounting principles and applications is required experience in a health care administrative capacity desired Requires successful completion of a background check.
Selected candidate may be requested to complete a pre-employment physical including a drug screen.
