HALO is looking for an Operations Specialist experienced in the Beer, Wine & Spirits industry to join our high-growth company.

  • This role will participate in the planning, development, implementation and support of operational activities; serve as primary resource for orders flagged for safety and maintain associated documentation;
  • perform daily, weekly and monthly reporting and evaluation for key operational performance indicators; work closely with various functional areas in order to understand business processes and transactional data;

and identify ways to streamline operational procedures between or within departments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Prepare, analyze, and report on predefined key performance indicators on a daily, weekly and / or monthly basis
  • Work on special projects as assigned, such as (but not limited to) acquisition integration and continuous improvement
  • Serve as primary track / review resource for orders flagged for safety review, approving, resolving or escalating
  • Assist in other functional areas (such as Billing or Accounting) during peak seasonal periods and heavy workloads
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Beer, wine and spirits experience required
  • Minimum of Associate's Degree required
  • 3+ years of related experience, with 2+ years previous data or financial evaluation experience

REQUIRED SKILLS :

  • Structured thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Above average writing and business presentation skills, with the ability to express oneself clearly and convincingly in writing, one-on-one, in groups, and with various levels of management, employees, and customers
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook software
  • Customer-friendly approach with drive to commit towards achieving company goals
  • Able to listen and respond to feedback effectively
  • Ability to prioritize, plan and execute
  • Ability to be flexible when the situation calls for it
  • Available to work overtime when required
  • Experience with Netsuite

Compensation range is specific to the job level and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to : education, experience, licensure, certifications and geographic location.

The estimated salary range for this position is between $45,000 - $60,000 annually.
