Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing experienced Speech and Language Pathologists for a full-time role within school districts in the Fairfield, California area.
Requirements :
- Candidates must meet all local and state requirements for Speech and Language Pathologists, including :
- Possession of a valid license in Speech-Language Pathology issued by the state of California
- Completion of a Master's degree program in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Preferably hold certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Previous experience working with school-aged children is highly valued.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders in students.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the unique communication needs of each student.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to student support and progress.
- Provide therapy services to students with speech and language disorders, addressing articulation, language, fluency, and voice disorders.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of student assessments, progress reports, and treatment plans.
- Participate in ongoing professional development activities to stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices in the field of speech and language pathology.
