- Provide direct 1 : 1 SLP services targeting the development of language and communication
- Evaluate children with ASD whom their BCBA has referred for delayed or deficient speech, language, feeding / swallowing, fluency, voice, resonance, or who need augmentative / alternative forms of communication
- Create both long-term and short-term goals and provide individual treatment every week
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families
- Work closely with the clients' BCBAs, RBTs, and classroom teachers to provide maximum carryover of speech goals.
- Limited travel is required.
Qualifications :
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state license or certification in Speech-Language Pathology
- Strong assessment skills to evaluate patients' speech and language abilities
- Ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans based on individual patient needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with
