Moris Media is seeking a seasoned Human Resources Director to lead the HR function for our moCal brand. As a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic HR initiatives that support the growth and success of moCal.

You will be a trusted advisor to senior management, ensuring compliance with all employment laws and regulations, and fostering a positive and productive work environment for all employees.

Responsibilities :

  • Strategic HR Leadership : Partner with the CEO and senior leadership to develop and implement HR initiatives that align with Moris Media's overall business strategy and goals.
  • Talent Management : Oversee the entire employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management, career development, and succession planning.
  • Recruitment & Staffing : Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract, identify, and hire top talent across all departments at Moris Media.
  • Compensation & Benefits : Design and administer competitive compensation and benefits packages to attract, retain, and motivate employees.
  • Employee Relations : Manage employee relations, including fostering a positive work environment, addressing employee concerns, and handling disciplinary actions.
  • Compliance : Ensure Moris Media complies with all applicable labor laws and regulations.
  • Risk Management : Identify, assess, and mitigate HR-related risks, including those related to employee relations, safety, and data privacy.
  • Learning & Development : Develop and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • HR Information Systems : Oversee the implementation and use of HR information systems to streamline HR processes and data management.
  • Metrics & Reporting : Track HR metrics and report on key HR data to measure the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives.

Minimum Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum 3-7 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • Strong understanding of HR principles and practices, including recruitment, selection, performance management, compensation and benefits, and employee relations
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing HR policies and programs
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with employees at all levels, as well as with senior management
  • Proficiency in HR information systems (HRIS)
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strategic thinking ability
