Our client, a family-friendly law firm with long tenure, is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Paralegal / Legal Assistant with experience in litigation and / or insurance defense to join our legal team.
The ideal candidate will support attorneys in all phases of litigation, including case preparation, research, document management, and trial support.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in the preparation and filing of legal documents, pleadings, and discovery materials.
- Conduct legal research and analyze case law.
- Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documents are up to date and accessible.
- Coordinate communication between clients, experts, and opposing counsel.
- Prepare trial materials, including exhibits and witness lists.
- Attend depositions and trials as needed, providing support to attorneys.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree and / or paralegal certificate, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in litigation.
- Strong research and writing skills.
- Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
