Set-up, remove and troubleshoot injection mold tooling and auxiliary equipment. Perform preventative maintenance on injection molds.
This position, once trained, will be on a 12-hour shift. This will entail 36 hours one week then 48 hours the next. Out of a 14 day period, this position will work 7 days and have 7 days off in a rotating fashion.
Overtime is paid for anything worked over 10 hours in a day, so a lot of overtime opportunity!
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Ability to set-up molds.
- Ability to troubleshoot machine processes.
- Ability to read specifications to determine machine set-up and prescribed temperature and time settings.
- Ability to repair and maintain machines and auxiliary equipment using hand and power tools.
- Enter molding parameters in the press.

Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Required Skills
- Strong written / verbal communication
- Good decision-making skills
- Ability to work under time constraints with changing priorities
- Regular and predictable attendance
- At least two years recent experience in an injection molding environment
- Excellent math skills needed
- Ability to read blueprints and other engineering drawings
- Knowledge and ability to use various hand tools
- Basic PC and internet skills
