Director of Preconstruction -Estimating
The GC has been headquartered in Miami and growing throughout South Florida. From new construction and renovations, they deliver personalized cost-effective services.

This role will be responsible for :
- Responsible for managing and leading the preconstruction team with a company of annual revenues of $150 Million.
- Fulfill the need for technical estimating preconstruction services including detailed qualification of work items, preparations of conceptual estimates, bid solicitation, scope development and analysis, pricing, and processing of computerized data.
- Manage the Pre-construction timelines to meet contract delivery, permitting deadlines, and start dates of projects.
- Coordinate program responsibilities with the scheduler from the timing of completing tasks, scheduling of work, and setting milestones.
- Work with design teams to stay on task for completing estimating responsibilities.
- Manage the transition of projects from the office to the field by making sure that the Estimator & field teams are coordinated in setting up contracts and buying out the project in a timely manner to start
- Develop and cultivate a team atmosphere between the office, owner, and field where information flows freely and the needs of the project are being met promptly.
- Review construction plans
- Prepare bid lists
- Read and interpret construction blueprints
