HVAC Service Technician Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair HVAC problems, including component installation and replacement
- Estimate costs repairs, and services to customers
- Complete preventative maintenance and warranty services for customers
- Read and apply electrical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, and wiring diagrams
- Test newly installed components to ensure proper function
- Maintain records of completed projects and parts used
HVAC Service Technician Qualifications
- 1 year HVAC-related experience
- EPA 608 Type 2
- Current driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs or 100 lbs with aid
- The candidate must have excellent problem-solving and communication skills and a can-do attitude
