The Nursing Assistant Program at St. Patrick's Manor can help you launch your career as a Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA.
You will receive training and instruction by the Royal Institute (at no cost) on becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant by passing the required Massachusetts State testing.
If you choose to work while training, you may be hired by our Activities, Housekeeping or Dietary departments.
After you become a CNA, all we ask in return is that you commit to working as a paid CNA for St. Patrick's Manor for no less than 30 hours per week for at least one calendar year.
In your Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA Training, you will learn :
- Basic Medical terminology and anatomy
- Healthcare customer service
- Specialized skills for working with elderly residents
- Everything you’ll need to know to pass the state nursing assistant exam
Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA Training Program Requirements :
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Background check after offer of employment
- Ability to lift without restrictions
- Reliable transportation to St. Patrick's Manor in Framingham
- Must be able to read, speak and understand the English language
