The Role :
Pouch Cell Design and Optimization : Assist in the design and refinement of pouch cell configurations to achieve desired performance, safety, and cost goals.
Apply knowledge of cell design, electrode formulation, and electrolyte selection to support the development of high-performance pouch cells.
Manufacturing Process Support : Aid in the development and optimization of manufacturing processes for pouch cells, including tasks such as electrode coating, cell assembly, and sealing.
Contribute to quality control, yield improvement, and cost-reduction initiatives.
Materials Evaluation : Support the evaluation and qualification of materials for pouch cell components, such as electrodes, separators, and electrolytes.
Work closely with suppliers to verify material quality and ensure consistency.
Equipment Operation and Integration : Assist in the identification and operation of equipment used in pouch cell fabrication.
Collaborate with equipment vendors to ensure proper system integration within the manufacturing process.
Process Characterization and Validation : Help develop and execute testing protocols for assessing pouch cell performance and reliability.
Assist in data analysis and validation of processes to ensure consistent cell performance.
Safety and Compliance Adherence : Follow safety standards and regulatory guidelines in all pouch cell manufacturing processes.
Participate in the implementation of safety procedures to minimize risks related to battery fabrication.
