Cloud Data Engineer (highest priority)

  • Experience with writing complex SQL and Stored Procedures
  • Snowflake-the work is very heavy with Snowflake. They should know Informatica, Azure Data Factory, or Python Script.

JOB DESCRIPTION

You will be responsible for the design and build of strategic data integration and data analytics solutions for our sales, marketing, and finance reporting and analytics processes.

Duties and responsibilities : You will :

  • Perform design, documentation, development, testing, installation, and support of complex data ETL / ELT pipelines using Azure Databricks and Snowflake
  • Experience in tools and data like MSCI, Barra, or other investment systems with Attribution, Analytics, and Risk
  • Five years of experience developing, maintaining, and supporting ETL / ELT programs with various target / source types and transformation logic, technologies may include Informatica Power Center v10.

x, Microsoft SQL Server SSIS, stored procedures, Azure Databricks

  • Provide testing support where necessary. Participate in the design and evolution of Dev Ops for Global Client Analytics.
  • Create associated scheduling logic for data pipelines using scheduling tools such as Autosys or Azure Databricks job scheduling framework
  • Work within the agile delivery methodology, picking up data development tasks within a 2-week sprint, providing work estimates for tasks to project management, and participating in agile ceremonies.
  • Experience building data pipelines using Azure Databricks and integrating with Snowflake. Experienced using Python and Spark for ETL.
  • Experience using scheduling tools such as Autosys
  • Experience with the Power BI reporting tool along with the DAX formula
  • Must be familiar with Agile delivery methodology and have participated in writing user stories and all Agile ceremonies.
  • Experience in Financial Services is a plus. Competencies required In addition to putting clients first, acting like an owner, and succeeding as a team, the competencies for this role include :
