As a Personal Care Aide / Caregiver, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do :
- The Personal Care Aide is responsible for the tasks of personal care and incidental activities of daily living for clients of all ages in client homes.
- Provides for client's hygiene, grooming and comfort needs, i.e., toileting, bathing, and companionship
- Assists with shopping, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and socialization activities
A few must-haves for Personal Care Aides / Caregivers :
- Six months experience in a comparable job classification, current CNA license or completed first semester of nursing school
- Must be 18 years of age
- Drivers License and current car insurance
- 2 professional references required
- Background check
- CPR preferred, but not required
