Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Ensures operation of facility equipment (lights, HVAC, plumbing, drains, etc.) by completing inspections and coordinating repairs.
- Obtain competitive quotes from suppliers and external contractors.
- Assist in managing facility service requests and provide and provide timely updates.
- Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments using hand tools, levels, and straight edges. This may involve security gates, doors, stalls, racks, etc.
- Routes invoices for payment.
- Performs facility safety inspections such as emergency lighting, eyewash stations, spill kits, fire extinguishers, facility vehicles and forklifts.
- Initiates purchase order for parts and services on ERP system and routes invoices for payment.
- Recording and storing maintenance information in written form as well as electronic form.
- Conserve maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to achieve solutions.
- Maintain and supply conference rooms and break areas as needed.
- Participate in activity surrounding Disaster Recovery Plan and Disaster Recovery.
- Ability to be available outside of usual work hours when needed.
- Ability to follow all corporate, local, state, and federal regulations of requirements.
- Perform all other duties requested, directed, or assigned.

Education and / or Experience
Technical Diploma or Minimum of 5 years’ experience required in building and equipment maintenance; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Other Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record to allow for the use of company vehicle as needed.
- Forklift experience required.

To perform this job successfully, an individual should be able to enter time and data into a computer system.

Continuously operate machines that require the loading of materials into the machine, removal of parts from the machine, and entering / editing data in the machine.
