About the role

We’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic and personable Procurement Director who can develop, implement, and manage product and service acquisition, supplying management strategies that drive increased value for internal clients.
Based in our modern Irvine office, you will be the backbone of our successful procurement processes.
What you’ll be doing
- Executing procure-to-pay initiatives including data analysis, supplier qualification, RFI / RFP / RFQ preparation, negotiation strategies, and contract management.
- Spearheading the continuous improvement of Boldyn’s supplier relationships while optimizing the procurement process.
- Assisting in Procurement Functions for Indirect and Direct Procurement that help short, intermediate and long-term goals to promote financial best practices with internal business partners, while reducing cost and risk to the business.
- Developing strategies to drive cost savings, operational efficiencies, improved contract terms and conditions, supplier performance and reduced supply chain risk.
- Collaborating with Enterprise Application Systems team to incorporate procurement processes into Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform and other digital tools.
- Developing and training the team to support centralization of all source-to-pay activities.
- Creating templates and tools to support the RFP process and leverage spend visibility and supplier behavior to develop actionable data to help negotiation RFPs and other procurement or sourcing tools.
- Overseeing the creation, approval, and management of purchase orders to ensure timely and accurate procurement.
- Implementing and maintaining best practices for PO processing, including the use of automation and digital tools where appropriate.
- Meeting regularly with respective stakeholders regarding procurement to enhance the understanding and adoption of policies and processes as needed.
- Collaborating with Corporate Legal concerning negotiation and contract strategies and priorities.
- Drafting and negotiating complex agreements including non-disclosure agreements, master services and product agreements, project service order and change order agreements ensuring compliance with safety & regulatory requirements and mitigating risks.
- Overseeing the management of vendor insurance certificates, ensuring compliance with organizational risk management policies.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives in vendor management processes and procedures to enhance efficiency effectiveness and scalability.
- Performing other related duties as required and assigned.
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited university with a minimum of 8+ years of experience in a related field.
- 2+ years management experience.
- Experience in wireless infrastructure, telecommunications, construction management is preferred.
- In-depth understanding of construction procedures, industry methods, material and project management principles.
- Direct experience negotiating and contracting with contractors, vendors, and suppliers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication - preparation and delivery of written and oral presentations.
