Responsibilities

RN Emergency Dept. The Emergency Department Registered Nurse performs assessments appropriate to the patient’s clinical presentation / diagnosis, care setting, age, development level, and cultural and religious orientation in a timely manner.

Performs assessments completely and accurately including, but not limited to, physical (, skin breakdown, risk for falls), psychological (), social status and other patient needs.

Qualifications

One (1) year Emergency or Critical Care experience in an acute care facility

Registered Nurse with current California RN license

BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA) certifications required

NIHSS required within three months of hire

CEN encouraged

CPI certified within 90 days of hire
