We are seeking a Medical Director for our leading behavioral health facility in Mesa, AZ .

Schedule : Monday-Friday (9am-5pm). Need flexibility on nights and weekends for call. Would not be required to go onsite for call just over the phone.
Holidays are on call via phone as well and rotate.
Competitive Salary : $255,537 - $309,200 annually.
Sign-on / relocation bonus : $15,000.
On-call stipend : $200.00 per month.
Phone stipend : $45.00 per month.
CME credits : Up to $2,500 annually.
PTO for CME classes / conference : Up to 40 hours annually.
Requirements :
- MD or DO and completion of an accredited residency program in psychiatry.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a physician; 3 years management experience preferred.
- Open to recent grads from their residency. The 2 years of experience can come from residency.
- Experience with Title 36 (CPI holds) highly preferred.
- Experience with medical detox as well as involuntary holds.
- Experience with Nextgen EMR would be nice but not required.
- CPR / First Aid certification.
Overview :
The Medical Director is responsible for establishing and overseeing psychiatric and addiction clinical practice for all behavioral health services.
The medical director ensures that quality services are provided in accordance with evidence-based practices, community standards, and consistent with state and federal laws.
The medical director coordinates with the practice management team to oversee the day-to-day clinical issues and assists in managing practitioners.
In addition, the medical director coordinates with the Psychiatric Medical Director and Chief Medical Officer to establish and oversee integrated care in the Crisis, Inpatient, and Expedited Care Units.
