Customer Administrator
We are a family run full-service packing, crating and transportation company located in the Chicago suburbs in search of a Customer Administrator to join our team.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Data entry - primarily entering information for customer’s loads
- Processing driver paperwork such as driver’s logs and fuel charges
- Tracking and tracing loads via email, phone or customer’s websites
- Assisting with accounts payable
- Additional clerical tasks as assigned
- This position at times will require you to wear many hats so someone who is flexible and adaptable
Education and / or Experience :
MUST HAVE a minimum of 1-2 years of experience working in an office setting, ideally in the transportation industry PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT HAVE EXPERIENCE IN AN
OFFICE SETTING
MUST HAVE basic computer and typing skills to include a working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Possess a strong customer service mentality
- Flexibility in dealing with tight deadlines and service sensitive issues on a daily basis
- Must possess strong written and oral communication skills
- Work well with others in a team environment
- Teachable and eager to learn
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree a plus, but not required
- Experience with Profit Tools and Great Plains highly desirable
Job Type : Full-time
Pay : $40k+ Based on Experience
Position includes Vacation, Paid Holidays, Medical & Dental Insurance, and 401K
