Position : Board Liaison

Salary Range : $28-$36 / hourly
Position Summary :
Board Liaison, reporting to the Director, Board Relations, effectively manages benefits and assists with administration tasks as they relate to the Board of Directors.
This position will contribute to the overall success of Board initiatives.
Position Elements :
- Help to create materials and execute Volunteer Board Committee meetings alongside the LAPA Executive Team and Director, Board Relations.
- Working to familiarize all Board members with the BoardEffect platform and other onboarding tasks.
- Assisting with cultivation and stewardship events hosted by Board members.
- Collaborating with the stewardship team to maintain and review all recognition opportunities for accuracy.
- Ticketing assistance and management at WDCH and Hollywood Bowl
- Providing assistance to the Chief Philanthropy Officer on key projects related to the Board and other major donors.
- Participate in orchestra tours (both domestic and foreign) to assist with Patrons as needed. Responsibilities would include managing : ticket grids, travel itineraries, and other details related to group travel.

Minimum Requirements
Position Requirements :
- 3-4 years of experience working for a mid- to large-sized non-profit organization, research and writing background preferred
- Bachelor’s degree
- Comfortable working with Board of Directors and other donors
- Excellent business professional level communication skills (verbal and written)
- Exceptional interpersonal and collaboration skills with ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills and demonstrated ability to multitask effectively in fast-paced environment within resource constraints and deadlines
- Business professional proficiency with desktop computing applications (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with fundraising software tools (preferably Tessitura) and Board portals are a plus.
