Asour Litigation Paralegal in our Employment Class Action department you will havethe opportunity to advocate for our clients’ interestsoften in cases pertaining to overtime wage violations employeemisclassification timeshaving failure to provide meal and restbreaks and other workers’ rights violations.
Whatyou will bedoing :
- Supportour attorneys in all phases oflitigation
- Propoundand respond todiscovery
- Maintainorganized casefiles
- Assistin drafting reviewing proofreading citation checking and tablingdocuments
- Manageand calendar courtdeadlines
- Preparedocuments for filing in both state and federalcourts
- Professionallycommunicate with clients experts courts and defensecounsel
Theskills youneed :
- 3years of civil litigation experience preferably in wage &hour classactions
- Excellentorganizationalskills
- Meticulousattention todetail
- Strongwritten and oral communicationskills
- Abilityto act independently and in a teambasedenvironment
- Knowledgeof eFiling and Californiarules
- Familiaritywith California discoveryrules
- Typeat least 40wpm.
- Confidentin a paperless workenvironment
