What You Will Do :
The Senior Coatings Manufacturing Engineer will develop and qualify new processes to meet or exceed delivery and quality targets, and assist in manufacturing readiness for these processes at the Asheville, NC site.
- The candidate will demonstrate technical project management, interpersonal and team skills, as well as strong communication skills and the ability to multi-task and adapt to changing business requirements.
- Additionally, we will be looking for individuals with the ability to work with internal and external automation integrators to insert new technologies into the manufacturing process.
- Execute new site start up for next generation coating process
- Perform preliminary testing and on-site acceptance of new equipment at vendor
- Development of production processes, work instructions, quality requirements, and regulatory requirements
- Deploy standardized engineering practices, processes, tools, and methods
- Assist in MRL (Manufacturing Readiness Level) of new process to align with program requirements
- Implement and execute engineering changes to meet customer and financial requirements
- Pursue operational excellence as subject matter expert for next generation coating process; Drive product cost reduction and ensure targets are achieved through data driven process improvements and deployment of new technologies.
Qualifications You Must Have :
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations or similar degree
- 3-5 years of experience in operations, manufacturing engineering or similar experience
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program / contract
Qualifications We Prefer :
- Six Sigma green belt or equivalent
- Prior work experience in the Aerospace Industry
- Project management experience

Onsite : Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and / or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
